This is something, which will have to work as my home page.

It's a temporary solution, and that's why it's functioning like this for years now and will probably stay with me for many more.

Some time ago, my home page was hosted on pingu.ii.uj.edu.pl server, owned by KSI UJ (Koło Studentów Informatyki Uniwerystetu Jagiellońskiego - Circle of Computer Science Students at Jagiellonian University, which I was a member of).

Unfortunately that server was decommissioned by KSI, and with it's removal I lost all my old home page contents (along with other data, like mailbox contents). In theory that data can be recovered, but it turned out that it can only be done by my personal appearance in the KSI headquarters. I tried to make an appointment a few times, but somehow each time something got forgotten and no final meeting arrangement was made.

In the meantime I decided to give the Google Apps a chance. After some initial struggle with proper configuration of DNS entries at nazwa.pl, everything seems to be working fine.

I'm also using the ability to register domains free of charge at dot.tk or Freenom (I can't grasp their naming reasoning), where I registered some domains, like "jaźń.tk", "hilarion.cf", "hilarion.ml", "hilari0n.tk" or "hilarion.ga" and some others. Recently they are a bit more active and as a result they canceled some of those domain registrations, because when I had a web redirect (pointing to here) set up for some, the others had only e-mail related DNS entries defined. They decided that it's not enough and that I'm holding those domains without a good reason. Some of those I was able to re-register again, and some not. For the re-registered ones I'm looking for a way to make a good web redirect on my own (not having a full web hosting anywhere).

As for the domain itself and DNS, I'm using nazwa.pl. I probably could find a less expensive solution, but though I have considered it at some point, I never had the patience, to go through the whole domain transfer process.
